DAVID FREEDMAN
David Freedman is the Director of Engineering and Construction for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources where he implemented and manages one of the most successful green building programs in the nation. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources ranks first among state agencies nationally with the highest number of LEED certified projects and consistently ranks in the top ten of all building owners in the nation. David is a Registered Professional Engineer, a LEED Accredited Professional, and serves on the faculty of the U.S. Green Building Council where he conducts LEED workshops across the country. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, is a member of the State Facilities Energy Council, is Past President and a Board Member of the Georgia Association of State Facilities Administrators, and President-elect of the Association of Conservation Engineers.
