DOUGLASS GIANFORTE

 

Doug Gianforte brings his 25 years of experience in construction management to gBuild Construction Managers. 


A firm he founded to:

  • Work with companies that are interested in applying Sustainable or Green principles in their construction projects.
  • Bridging the gap between ideas and implementation.
  • Supporting Owners, Design Professionals and Contractors throughout their projects to make sure that the process is seamlessly integrated.

Previously Doug was Director of the Philadelphia Division of a mid size construction management firm. Doug is LEED Accredited Professional and Green Advantage Commercial Certified and has mentored many others with the accreditation process.  He holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Delaware where he was president of Chi Epsilon – the National Civil Engineering Honor Society.  He is on the Philadelphia AIA Healthcare Committee and has been recognized by the Subcontractors Association of the Delaware Valley as Project Manager of the Year.  His commitment and interest in Sustainable Building is demonstrated with his Faculty teaching position with Green Advantage.  Doug’s 25 years in the construction industry have focused on projects in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare and Higher Education Markets.  Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth, Merck, Sanofi-Aventis, Novartis, Glaxo-SmithKline, Cephalon, Hercules, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Pennsylvania Hospital, Mainline Health, Virtual Healthcare, Princeton University, Villanova University, University of Delaware, Penn State University, University of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia University.
