LISA LONDON

Lisa London, AIA, LEED AP, CDT, is Managing Director of Edifice Studio. She is a multi-faceted senior design, technology, and construction professional with more than two decades of cross-disciplinary success in a variety of demanding programs and projects assisting the industry to proactively address sustainability challenges through consultative design and research methodologies, and guiding project teams with their LEED documentation requirements. Prior to forming Edifice, Ms. London was Vice President of The NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Research Center and focused on building technology research and the integration of new industry initiatives with a special focus on HUD Partnership for Advancing Housing Technology (PATH) projects and green building cost studies. Other positions held include the role of Vice President of Public Sector & Equity Services for a national real estate due diligence provider, and as Director of Construction for a non-profit urban housing concern.

Currently, Ms. London is an Advisory Board Member to the Center for Sustainability Research, Design and Development (CSRDD) at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. Additionally, Ms. London serves on the Greening Task Force and Real Estate Development Committees of The Associated Federation of Baltimore and assists the organization with their sustainability mission. She has participated as guest studio critic for the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), and guest lecturer at the Kenan-Flagler Center for Real Estate Development at the University of North Carolina.

Ms. London is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Preservation Maryland, and Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC). Ms. London received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
